I do not find clicking through 14 pages of retainer inventory to find something, interesting.

And you totally missed the point of my entire post...so I will try to dumb it down.

Travel by walking takes a long time.
Adding mounts and crystals makes travel faster.
Mounts and crystals are good.

Moving junk around between my inventory and retainer takes a long time
Not having to do that makes it faster
Not having to do that is good

Don't have things you aren't using in your inventory, inventory space issues solved.

Stop hoarding everything you find.

I've had both my retainers full since ARR launched. I don't organize anything and it still takes me minimal time to find anything.

Let's compromise: let them implement a feature that does a "Chocobo porter/teleport" analogy for retainers but with a gil fee, just like for teleporters. That's the one way to design it so that it doesn't "dumb down" the game. Those who already have organized retainers may choose to not use it, but those who have messy ones or bad memory can pay fee to have easier access.
