While I agree that patches usually take several months to be imlpemented, it's a complete different thing with "hot-fixes". They were able to hotfix Titan exploits, Twintania Twisters etc. But things that literally take one day of coding and implementation are pushed back to big content patches, which causes inconveniences for players. Being able to Discard AF armor is a matter of a one day hotfix, including coding, debugging and implementation. It's these little things that make people wonder if SE is actually able to pull stuff like this off when it actually matters. Being able to discard AF armor is no big deal...but it makes it "hard to believe" that when something is actually urgent and should be fixed in a matter of one day, that SE can actually do it. Other MMORPGs have stuff like class balance updates and things in hotfixes. Something like that will never happen in FFXIV. If a class is "broken", they will make you wait til the next big patch, or at least that's how it seems considering their update politics for the game.

PS: Nonetheless I'm glad this is gonna be fixed in 2.1...I wanna get rid of my duplicate AF...
