    How to get a refund?

    I've been searching through the maze/badly designed website that is the account services/order page from the SE store. I've been unable to find a number, support page, or even an order history page that I can go to in order to cancel my order or request a refund.

    I ended up just making a support ticket. Though I found information on how to get a refund, I can't find the page to go to in order to request said refund... Can somebody direct me to a proper link? Thank you in advance.

    I don't want to just do a charge back without speaking to Square first. That's bad practice and the banks don't like when you do that. Unless Square just outright refuses to refund me my purchase, if they do that then I'll seek out a charge back from my bank/credit card company.

    If you have redeemed the code/installed game etc its incredibly unlikely you'll get your refund.

    Most other companies will allow you to obtain a refund despite the registration of a key, Blizzard included. I'm going to assume that if companies like that will issue refunds as long as you have legitimate issues when it comes to playing the game or actually accessing your account they'll warrant out refunds. Still though, even if they don't I'll just end up taking it to the bank and getting a charge back. I'd still rather show my bank that I was willing to communicate with the merchant beforehand instead of going straight to the Charge back. So it's really up to Square to be a good sport. If not, I'll end up getting the refund anyways. I just want to try to do it in a civil fashion first.

    Try this: https://support.eu.square-enix.com/c...hp?id=612&la=2 and then select the things that are relevant to you... then eventually choose live support as your option so you can get a live chat with one of the employee's.. they might be able to help

    No matter wether it is installed or redeemed, neither does it matter what game it is.. if he thinks the game did not fit the idea they gave him and didnt deliver the quality he was promised.. they will refund him

    I generally dont purchase direct as there is generally cheaper options elsewhere and the only way of getting a refund usually is if an item is unfit for purpose or faulty, which im assuming it likely isnt and your grievance is with the server issues? Im also not sure what the deal is when seller and buyer are from different continents due to difference in laws. Best of luck with it though.

    Again you rarely get refunds because you dont like it or thought it would be different, especially if its on the PC platform. Most if not all retailers I have come across wont refund anything on the PC after its been used, atleast over here in the UK.
