Changing Active Quests?

Is there a way to change the maximum 5 active quests that can be shown on my screen?
Or do I seriously have to abandon some of them for others to appear.

If you go to your Main Menu and then select Journal from the list. You can actually toggle quests to show or not show...you do not have to abandon them. At default it just has all toggled on and as you accept more and more quests they shift down the list because the screen can only show so many. That should fix your issues and make it so that you can only display the quest that you currently want to work on at the moment. Just remember to turn the others quest on when you want more to show or you may forget about them. Hope this helps you out.

I am toggling a quest in my journal right now that isn't on my active quest list and there is no option to move it to the active quest list.
Likewise, there is no option to toggle a quest from my active quest list off.
