First off, I want to say congrats to the dev team for pulling off the impossible. I'm having a blast with the so many things to engage in.

But exactly as the thread title states, as I recently started up archer after playing it extensively during the first three phases of beta, and after acquiring the first few abilities, the first thing that stood out to me is how mundane they have become in the final release versus how visually interesting and engaging they were during beta.

What was the impetus for this change in the first place? Personally, I think this is a pretty grave problem, especially given that it isn't an issue with other classes that all have pretty cool-looking movesets going for them. The archer by contrast seems to have adopted the "Ben Stein" monotone approach to combat, and it's boring.

Given that that lack of visual appeal in combat animations was a big deal to a lot of people back during the 1.0 days, I really feel this needs to be rectified.
