Would that be what yoshi is implying or does he mean adding more server capacity, duty finder fixes

Under character Configuration, targeting. .. you can setup what you want to target only. Also under character configuration I think ui settings you can change battle effects. So I target only mobs when weapon is drawn, removed battles effects from others, show some for party and all for me. Then as some/most mages have a hard time getting off magic before dead, I suggest uSing aoe magic. Also make sure your in a party. In a party as long as u get at least one attack in, as you party members attack you get credit, and most likely get full xp from fate, providing you don't show up late. This helps me a lot as blm and don't really have many issues on ps3

This has nothing to do with targeting. The mobs literally do not load on the screen due to the game automatically keeping the number of loaded objects low to help with performance. Changing targeting settings only helps if the mob finally shows up on the screen.
The only way for me to get higher than bronze on Odin is to go as WHM and spam Medica.
This is insane. The fact that SE KNEW this issue was going on and STILL SOLD US the PS3 version is unforgivable.
When you know a product is faulty you put it on RECALL! You don't sell it en masse!
I went out and bought the PS3 version on pre order. I planned on enjoying it, but all that happened was I was forced to go out and buy the PC version so I could run FATEs.
I've tried to get my PS3 version refunded but SE flat out refuses to do it. You sold us an incomplete product that you knew wasn't working properly... that's sleezy SE.
Disabling models isn't really a solution. I would rather see something to make certain areas less crowded. More instances of the same area would be nice, if for example a max amount of players enter the same area. Fates will be more challenging and people would have better frame rates.
Even on my high end system I get horrible frame rates in those areas. One game that used this is Guild Wars 2 and it worked very good when servers launched.

Pleas bump to keep this open. I would like to know if SE is going to do anything to try and at least fix the issue. I do understand the ps3 is old hardware, but why would they do something like this as to sell the game massivly on a system that you can't even enjoy the full content on. It was never advertised that certin pieces of contant will not be aviable on the ps3 console.

Bump, this happens all of the time to me with that dragon fate in the mountain area.
It is very annoying when the monsters don't load in the ps3 version until the fateis like almost over

Yes yes I am bumping this. To me this is pretty serious esecially as more people are getting to 50

You do have a point. You could be completely overpowered and just rush through the storyline of level 1-49 quests at level 50, and just level sync down. Of course, this only applies if you have just FATE'd all the way to that level, at which point I'd like to say bravo, but I feel like that is a waste of energy.
You feel free to play the game however you like. I am currently sitting on level 31 with my main class, and few others at 15+, and now working on DoH so when I start to progress the story, I will have selfmade gear from myself and my fellow FCers. I also will watch all of the cut scenes in the dungeon, and spend most of my time off the game. That is my choice.
I was offering a suggestion. You countered with a straw man fallacy.
And incidentally, who is going to want to do a lvl 1 gathering quest by the time they've hit 50? a person with a character who is destroying their total amount of gil because they didn't build up enough subclasses to sustain lvl 50 dungeons? That just seems like added stress to me.
