Fate grind groups are ruining this game.
Here's your fix, setup the visual priority in this order:Greetings,
The Battle team is aware that in crowded areas, like FATEs for example, enemies will sometimes not appear for both the PS3 and PC version.
They are currently looking into the best method to address this issue. Once we have more information, we'll be sure to follow up!
1) FATE Bosses
2) Party PCs
3) Party Pets
4) Non-Boss Monsters
5) Other PCs
6) Other PC Pets

Began doing level 40+ FATEs last night. There's like no point to try doing them. It wasn't sometimes they wouldn't appear it was almost every time. Of 15 FATEs only one was I able to get more than 1.000 exp.Greetings,

Pleeaaassse tell me it's been worked on right now. Pretty please. I'm very much considering taking a break from the game until it's sorted out. I'm not at all upset at SE. I'm just not seeing a point in playing if I can not do what I'd like to.
Thanks! <3
If there was a way to make it so you could adjust the number of character models that render at a time like other MMOs...It's not just monsters either. NPCs are affected as well.

This is the first time after launch I recognizes heavy problems with lags during Fate Events.Worst scenario was Coerthas though. It is ridiculous to my character freezing during battle.
But the fact that I can't even see enemies I'm attacking is pretty sad.It is like fighting invisible objects, also other players on my screen are nothing else than empty air.No orientation on the battlefield at all, and I am standing around like an idiot till Fate is over.

We need to be able to filter out all but the mobs and out FC/party members.
I like frog
Odin spawned in North Shroud near Alder Springs. The place was so crowded because a bunch of curious lowbies were just standing there, getting killed and then running back to die again. There were way too many players that at some point, Odin became invisible for most of us unless you were standing next to him. I've seen this happen on Behemoth and Svara too.

All you need to do is have strict drawing protocols when entering a fate circle. (like above mentioned)
On top of this you should remove all unnecessary mobs/NPCs whilst a Fate is in progress, de-spawn chocobos companions and minions, the first thing not to be drawn should be summoners pets, as long as they still function as normal (whilst invisible) that is just fine.
