    For some reason I always imagined him s a male, now of course, being a dragon in final fantasy he might be a crossdresser, or a transgendered dragon, which is why he was taking a long nap, then those pesky tiny people wake him up after the painkillers wear down post operation.
    Plus the real reason he destroy everything is that Louisoix was trying to look under the tail, which kindly pissed Bahamut off.
    Which might point to the fact that he is in fact a lady, and reacted badly to someone trying to peek under her private parts...

    He is a male and is stated in every single game. He is the KING of Dragons and in FFI they refer to him as HE and HIM. Come on FF fans!

    As far as I'm concerned, Bahamut is a hir. I don't feel like using stereotypes to base which gender the primal is, so I'm picking outside the binary.

    Fun discussion and I can tell who here is male & female by how they shoot the whole conversation down by saying, "It's irrelevant" or just giving their thoughts.

    Lord/ King Bahamut is a guy, a dude, male. Regardless a gender specific reproductive capabilities(by the way, who the hell says they can't reproduce anyway?), they hold gender specific title. Like Garuda, it's pretty obvious what gender was given. It would be ridiculous to say Garuda's a male.... (eew)

    From the days of FF1, Bahamut was always know to wear pants and not a skirt.

    going by the book of gods and goddess from DnD Bahamut would be classed as a male for he is king of dragons, now int he FF relam it was never stated weather he was male or female so i would just used the old DnD classification myself
