"Program is not responding"

I like to have Lodestone and Lodestone forums open in the background while I play, so if I want/need to look something up I can. When I want to switch over I just hit Alt + Tab - however sometimes when I click back onto the client I get a black box with a Windows dialog telling me "Program is not repsonding".

This happens at least once a day.

Although sometimes the game will minimise itself (I've also had this happen while playing Sims 3) and go to desktop. I usually just click back into the client and it will sometimes "not repsond"

Either way I have to force close and restart the client...

Try switching to "Border-less Windowed" mode. I switched to that and haven't seemed to have any problems since.

Hmm, for me I get this sometimes when I switch between windowed and full screen mode. Hopefully, borderless window mode will let me alt-tab and use a larger resolution at the same time now.

are you getting a C++ R6025 error? Lots of people are getting this and it hasn't once been addressed by SE

Same problem here. As people advised in other similar threads i reinstalled the game 3 times, tried running it in borderless mode, fiddled with drivers etc. etc. All to no avail. Im giving up. There is not going to be a patch soon im afraid as they have other problems with the server load. Coming back in a few weeks/months i think.

Oh, running AMD RADEON 6800 in Crossfire mode btw.

For me there is no Error description, just Program stopped responding...that's it :-(

No Astrolia, I haven't had that error.

I have found that since running borderless window I have had no unexpected freezes. Also, in borderless window I can also use the internet in the background again
