When you're hp gets halfway down and all of your survability CDs are down, you can always just kite him all over the palce ( use sprint if needed. ) and wait for a couple of hp potion cycles or second wind, etc, to come off CD. Its what I did to get past it, and beat it at level 30.
Was thinking the same after I wiped so fast...it was because I was all in his face the whole time. Appreciate the heads up.
