Text size

I apologise if this thread has already been done, I did have a look through in a different forum but then it wouldn't let me post there due to my low level.

Is there any way to change the font size that comes up in the middle of the screen when people are talking to you etc as I cannot read it at all I know it comes up also in the side bar to the left but that's just awkward I would like to read the text as it appears on the screen.

I don't think you can change that at the moment. You can try to go to Edit HUD option to see if the whole box could be made larger but I believe the text size will remain. As far as I know you can at the moment on scale font in the chat logs and so on.

When the text is up there is no actual voice overs to be heard like there have been in other final fantasys is that correct? Or do I have an incorrect setting? I'm finding it so hard :/ not being able to read things is really affecting the overall game play :/ I can't even see equipment details etc properly it's odd they have chosen to make it all so tiny

No voice overs for the normal screen text boxes. Only for some of the cut scenes. It is a bit tough but no alternative at this moment. They may find a way to ennahnce that

Glad it's not just me :/ hope once they have the worlds sorted they look at text as storyline has always been an integral part of FF and I can't see it
