Is this supposed to happen? ( Legacy Tattoo / Mark )

So I decided to delete my legacy character that was given to me from 1.0 to remake because I wasnt happy about his height etc etc. Needless to say, I have a saved Loadout with him and his Legacy Tattoo. Pop into a new character, and as soon as a cutscene hits, the mark gets removed and cannot be re-applied with /lmark or any other input.

Has anyone else experienced this? Arent ALL my characters supposed to have the legacy mark since I came from 1.0? .. and why does it vanish as soon a CS hit.

Honestly I think im done if this is working as intended. They cant expect me to stick to one character / race for the entire game.

I've seen at least two others mention this effect after the last patch.

I really hope this is some sort of glitch. As I said.. they really cant expect you to stick to one character forever.

Or if it's supposed to work that way, I hope they have some sort of rollback or character restoration process in place. Im really proud of the legacy mark on my characters back..

Wait, you deleted your legacy character and created a new one and you want the legacy mark on your NEW character? That mark is for legacy characters only, you can't create a new one and expect the mark...

Right, I thought the Legacy Mark was attached to my account, like my CE items or people's Legacy Chocobos. Not a one character thing.

Nah it's only for the characters that actually survived so any new chars will not have the mark.

You do know with the loyalty rewards, you get an item to literally remake your character. It's the 30 day reward for paying for 30 days.

Also they let you recreate ur legacy character at the start of Open Beta, did you recreate it then and now like it? Pay for 30 days of service and you also would have gotten an item that would again let u change your characters appearance.

Yeah, the Phial of Fantasia. I mean, as I said it was a mistake thinking it was an account wide mark. Especially since all my character loadouts still have the mark on the CC screen. On the support page it says USERs cant restore deleted characters, but hopefully they can help us out. I mean, they have a form for it.
