    Terrible support

    Well, I love this game honestly. However the customer support is pure garbage. I realize this will likely get deleted, I may get a warning, or heck even flamed. but I wanted this heard.

    So without going deep into the issue, I filed a report about a game mechanic issue that effected gameplay. I gave all the required information they needed. I get a email today saying the following.

    "Due to the overwhelming volume in regards to the upcoming launch of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, we have been regretfully unable to respond to your request within the expected 48 hours. Because of this, your ticket has been closed in order to prioritize time-sensitive issues being reported during Early Access"

    I'm so very happy that my issue is not considered important. It's so unimportant that they closed my ticket without even giving me a human reply, or even a suggestion on a work around.

    This is honestly a disgusting practice in terms of customer service, and I expected alot more from SE. I was extremely understanding when I was nearly unable to access the game for the duration of early access, but to have them close my ticket, without even giving me a proper response, is pretty disturbing.

    Same, I had a ticket open from over a week ago which closed this morning for the same reason. The problem with my account hasn't been fixed, but now I have to go back into the start of the queue again. :S

    Yes, but has anyone actually seen a technical support reply from anyone official? 4 new stickied threads yesterday is the only thing I've seen.

    I got the same response after contacting support about not being able to register my copy of the game because of region issues. These guys really need to get a better handle on their tech support.

    So? Since the thread maker decided to not mention anything about his "game mechanic issue", how do we know that it's something that can't be answered by another user?
    Lots of things here have been resolved that way.

    I'm not defending anyone.
    I gave a suggestion to the thread maker to use available resources. What if it's just some misunderstanding or something that can be solved by other users? We can't know unless the thread maker says anything more.
