    How do I get Pet Hotbar to show up?

    I have the option checked to always see pet hotbar. I have a pet. Nothing there. :/

    On PS3 you need to press R1 I think, not sure about PC though.

    If it's PS3 the "quickly tap" R1 to bring up pet hotbar. A normal press will not bring it up. Also make sure pet hotbar is enabled in settings.

    Actually it seems like the only place you can tick/untick the pet hotbar option is under the Cross Hotbar settings, which i don't even use. :/ Weird.

    I figured out my problem. Apparently your chocobo is not a pet. ^^ Oops.

    It's not a pet but it will become a companion so it can fight / heal and so on together with you similarly to pets.

    Just to be clear, minions aren't pets either. The pets refer directly to the pet class/jobs. Carbuncle is a pet for ACN's.
