Unable to Stop Gil Spammers Shouting and Flooding the Chat

I started a new character on Leviathan yesterday and was overwhelmed as soon as the opening movie stopped by ORANGE SHOUTING scrolling at high speed down the chat, it was impossible to post and really really hard to even read it. There were four names hidden in the flood of text as the posters but none of them were found as players so none of this garbage could be stopped using the Blacklist command. How is it possible for them to post an ongoing SHOUT that keeps running with no way to stop it? the only way to stop it finally was to turn off Shout in the HUD but there MUST be a way you can give us to STOP this horrid junk.

I saw one of the names appear in the chat about half an hour later with the subfix, /v or something like that which i think was their secret signal to potential buyers to friend them so that their dirty work could continue.

I was horrified by such a blatant destruction of the game mechanics and that there was NO way to stop it, I wont post the names or the website mentioned as i don't want to further this nasty work. Please please find a way to give us at least a tool to STOP this kind of junk.

Bug: No way to interrupt spam flood of Gil selling being shouted over the chat, as none of the names in the flood were found by the character finder and so the blacklist command could not work. No idea how such an ongoing shout can be generated but it must be stopped.
OS: XP SP3, AMD 2.6 Ghz
Vid Card: Nvida 9600 GT
RAM: 3 GB
Related: No problems running the game technically and insignificant lag, no other aspects of game play affected other than the bug around the inability to block the spamming chat or stop it or remove it in any way with known or posted tools.

One of the names appeared in chat in an hour and I was able to use the Blacklist command but didnt try to re open the shout, no reason as it would just happen again.

This is a potential game breaker if you can't give us a tool to defend oursleves. You should post a LIVE GM IN the worlds for such purposes of patrol as the opening area is an obvious place for such hacking and abuse to happen.
