Login screen optimizations

I remember the horrible amount of clicking required to log into FFXI many years ago. FFXIV is much better. However, having gotten locked out by the current load problems, there's still room for improvement.

Suggestions:
Continue to show the rating and Square Enix splash screens if you must. At least I don't have to click. (But the 50th time you see them, it's kind of pointless).

Log directly into the character screen. 99% of the time, I'm going to click 'Start' anyway. Merge the other buttons (Configure, Opening Movie) onto the character screen for those rare times I might want to click them.

When I double click on a toon, don't prompt me again for confirmation. A mistake here is hardly the end of the world. If I click on the wrong toon, I can log out and back in again.

It would also be nice if the enter key just just loaded the current toon. You're a little too dependent on the mouse.

Obviously these are PC improvements. I don't have experience with the PS3.

On ps3 it would be nice to be able to exit the launcher without powering off the system. If there is a way to do this, I haven't found it. ><
