    [SE Please Read!!] Impossible to Register 16-digit NA Product Registration Cards

    I'd like an official response from SE on this topic, please.

    I still have a few unregistered product registration cards for games purchased that cannot be used anymore following the merge of the NA+EU Square Enix Members site. The product registration codes for NA region are 16 digit codes, but all websites will only accept 20 digit or 12 digit codes. Please note that I had no issue registering my FFXIV service account, and this thread is not about problems concerning registering FFXIV service accounts.

    The registration cards I'm talking about look like this:



    I have been waiting to register my FFXIII card since joining phase 3 of the beta in hopes of redeeming the Asuran Armguards for my FFXIV account (I am not a legacy/1.0 player). It was impossible to register codes via the Select Service option for the duration of the beta period as the option was disabled. Now with the new Mog Station platform, it is still impossible to redeem these 16 digit codes because the code entry page only accepts 20 digit codes. I would like an official response from SE into the matter; pretty much all threads on SE forums about this issue have been completely ignored (possibly due to the fact that SE has "until further notice" discontinued the members rewards/points program which for the most part makes product registration somewhat pointless).

    It is not the end of the world if I am unable to get the armguards, but I would like to know what SE plans to do with regards to allowing NA members to register their games. Any update on when past NA registered games will once again appear on our profiles would also be nice, if possible.

    Thank you ahead of time SE. I know you are already busy dealing with the launch in general but if you can take the time to look into/respond to this thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I think the day for registering the FFXIII product is long gone... BUT you may able to get the SE to look into adding FFXIII product for you, have you tried lodging a support ticket?

    I think the time has probably passed for that as well, but I didn't file a support ticket because I'd like a public response...it's not just me but everyone in NA region that can't register their games anymore (or view our past registered games on our SE profiles).

    Fair enough, I went ahead and filed a support ticket now copying+pasting most of this thread and changes a few words where necessary to make sense.

    What public response hehe... Having said that, it is probably ideal to put in a support ticket, so SE Support team will know how severe and widespread of this issue so they can address it. As I worked in software development industry, if it is not in a support log, it's not going to get immediate attention in short time. So put it in, lodge a support ticket for you, and get everyone else who are having the same issue to do it too then it will show up in their support KPI.
