I would love to help with this boss but its taking forever to level 50 alchemist and i'm starting to think its not worth playing anymore.

Then don't level an alch to 50? I'm sorry I just don't understand what this has to do with the quest. As for chim I just pugged it today took 4 tries. It's a very simple fight just needs some interrupts.

The inside the cave is pretty tight which makes his ice field a bit of a nightmare, however you can have the pally move him out of the cave into the field, which will provide more space to avoid ice field and his lightning orb.

Any group ever won with 1 stunner? Such as one paladin who does nothing but stun dragon/ram voices. I'm worried about stun resists, but surely the voices occur less often than Ifrit HM's eruptions?

killed him 3rd try

had a better equipped paladin as main tank. i was on stun duty for voice attacks.

@Aes1519: just find someone who already has. i asked one of the guys in my fc to build and meld the scimitar i needed.
