Thread: Joining friends

How are you supposed to join a friend in a world when they're never accepting new character creation? Is there some sort of World Pass like in FFXI? I camped the character creator for hours and was completely unable to join my friend's server.

If a server is not accepting new character creations it is because it is full, once the influx of new players has calmed down they will be re-opened however there is no ETA on when.

also world transfers will be available mid september, your friends and you should tranfer to one of the low pop servers then.

and new servers starting in the next few days. I am really looking forward to getting off of leviathan.

would also like to see a friend pass available too, have a couple friends who cant join our group due to the character creation lock, they feel left out

A lot of us have been locked out since early access. I wanted to join the server I was on during beta, but first day of ea and that world has been locked except for a few hours in the early morning 4 or 5 am here on Wednesday. Your best bet is have your friend find a server that lets him in and you joining him on that one for now. It sucks but that is how it is.

As of right now everything North American server is full.......hard to play when I can't even make a character
