Does anyone know how to beat this thing yet? My party's seems to keep wiping and it dosent seem to have the same machanics as Chimera. If anyone has beat it, please share your strategy here.

We need to figure this out guys, if anyone has any info let me know. So far what I gathered is whenever he casts that AOE breath to run inside him if your main tank, and if you stand on the sides it won't hit you. Mages just have to stand a few feet hack to not get hit. Kill add once it appears. Only problem is the Hydra blocks attacks sometimes and one shots the PLD. And he has moves that do like 4K dmg. I don't get it.

This is the first major gear check. You aren't going to beat this fight until you have better gear from the two level 50 instances. I imagine it's like this so you cannot just get your relic weapon right away. The gear that you can get from Tomestones is bounds and leaps better than the gear you have from the 45/50 class quests. Work on getting it, things will get much easier.

I have full BRD darklight lmao, I just need to figure out how to kill Hydra. Please don't post in here unless your giving REAL advise.

I don't remember that, looked like AF to me.
Bobby had DL, that stood out like a sore thumb.

Still no joy in finding answers then I see.
At least we figured out that weird fog he spewed out, what was it called again? The one with the massive aoe.

Don't be hard on him, I could very well have been wrong considering I was busy keeping squishy tanks up and failing miserably. Was a very hard fight so I could have seen it wrong. But I'm sure I saw those hideous stripey trousers last night.
