what custom drivers work with RRB? i have tried x360ce but dont know if i have done it properly. How come no one else has this issue is it just me or all wired and wireless pads? i doubt it because there isnt any chatter about it. I have looked for days and the information is very scarce which says to me it could be my computer? i am going to try and uninstall every driver and do reg clean and plug it in and see if it works.

I'm using the drivers that came with the xbox controller... Driver version: 2.1.0.1349 and have had zero problems, my wireless PS3 using MotionJoy software had similar issues to what you're experiencing. I have no idea why though you're experiencing the issue with wired and wireless controllers, maybe it was just luck on my part that I've not had the issue with the wired controller, I dunno, sorry

I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I hope you do get it sorted and that SE help you find a resolution. I know this is a long shot, but you said the controller was new? Could there be a chance that it's a hardware issue? Have you tried taking it back to the company you bought it from to get a replacement to see if you have the same issue?

I also have 3 wireless controllers and its the same issue on them all, i definitely think its a driver issue with the pad because everyone else seems to be ok. Its just annoying more than anything the input is just too sensitive. If i done a clean install on windows can i keep my files like games movies etc...

I don't think you need to do a clean install of windows tbh, I'd personally wait to see if SE get back to you first before doing a fresh install. To keep your files, movies etc there's a couple of things you can try: you can try a repair of windows which should not delete any of your settings, files, movies etc. you can also try a system restore, which again will not affect your files, movies etc. Then there is the option of a clean install. Doing a clean install will remove all your files, settings, movies etc. you'll need to back up these files on an external hard drive if you have one. I'd recommend doing a back up anyway no matter what you decide to do, it's something I do regularly considering my past luck with computer components failing on me!
