Collector's Edition from 1.0, Collector's Edition for ARR, and the first "free" month

Hello, I've run into a bit of confusion. I pre-ordered A Realm Reborn, the boxed Collector's Edition from Square Enix's shop, despite having been informed that previous owners of the Collector's Edition from 1.0 would benefit from the in-game items. I did this because I wanted all the goodies that came with the new version .

Anyways, my issue is this: When I look at my service accounts, I have two FFXIV services. The first was from the original FFXIV, obviously. I think the second is also from before, but I don't understand why I'd had a second service account. To get to the point: I registered my pre-order code with the second service account (though it was already flagged as a CE and had all the items listed on it), and then I noticed that I'm only credited with 15 days of "free" playtime (now only 13, as I registered the pre-order code about 48 hours ago).

Now, I just spent $70.00 on this edition of the game....am I to understand that, despite having paid for the game again, even though I wasn't required to, I'm STILL not going to get a full month of playtime? Am I going to have to create yet another service account to benefit from the first 30 days that are supposed to be credited to my account, giving up the items I was given for pre-ordering and using the Early Access code?

The first month for Legacy players (those with 1.0 characters) doesn't start for two weeks, as a special gift to those who played the original game. That timer will count down to 0, and then your 30 days will start up.

So I won't have to make a new service account for that to kick in? The 15 days is a bonus from having played the previous game?

....does that count if I hadn't played the previous game long enough to pay for a month?

Well, it seems they are going to charge me at the end of the 15 days. "Next Estimated Date of Billing: Sep. 10, 2013" "Next Estimated Service Fees: USD 14.99"
