low xp at higher lvls

I really don't understand what you are talking about... I'm 45 and I'm not doing any sidequest, just the main quest, some FATES, new guildhest when available(35k the first time for a 10 minute content ) and dungeons... Keep in mind that you do easily 1/3 - 1/2 ( if in rest ) of your level in 1 hour if you run a dungeon once...it's mean that in max 3 hour you can do 1 level and maybe get some good gear...

The problem isn't really with your main class, since there are plenty of quests/sidequests to get you to 47ish (where there appears to be a bug that doesn't unlock a bunch of quests until you're 49). The problem is when you want to go back and level another class/job, you're left with just levequest*, FATES, dungeons, and grinding. Grinding is damn near useless, dungeons are ok but tedious eventually, and chasing FATES is a pain. Really wish there were repeatable quests at each hub--like "clearing" a hub of it's quests once would unlock repeatables for other classes/jobs.

*You could do levequests, but the rate you get them is way to slow to make it viable. Plus, you're much better off using the levequests at level 50 to get gil, since you're going to be dumping a metric ton of gil on just repairs.

Yeah, the problem isn't the main quest, it's the subclasses. I did thaumaturge, then did Archer in Gridania, so all new quests...but tons were missing. There were a bunch in Gridania that got me to level 5, then after that in the Black Shroud there were very few hubs especially after I got to level 10. Only managed to get to 16 through FATES and finishing my hunting log a few levels ahead. I can imagine leveling another Ul'Dah or Gridania sub class will be even worse since I won't have ANY quests at all. There really needs to be some other way to get XP for your sub classes. Either more quests, or open up more hubs, or something

levequests only give me 6k xp per quest done were as a normal quest gives me 12k even a fate gives around 11k xp, so they are pointless tbh I love doing dungeons but 45 mins que because im a dps sucks hard..... and there isn't any quests im lvl 42 and as I stated above that no one clearly read I had out of quests and half over half a lvl to do ive already done the lvl 41 dungeon 4 times in the last 2 lvls to get my next lvl... Ive played a hell of a lot of mmorpg's and ive never had this problem ever running out of quests to get my next lvl I shouldn't even have to be forced to do fates, levequests or dungeons if I didn't want to, but this game forces you to do it all, I don't mind the quests that say go in this dungeon for a quest I really don't but I shouldn't run out of quests and be forced to go dungeons to make up the xp quests should be giving me !!!

Because your not supposed to kill 1000 mobs for your level, you can but that would be tedious. Your main source of EXP is from closing quests, finishing fates with a gold rating, and leves. The amount of EXP Gained for said items scales as you level, It still takes about the same number of quests per level.

How long does it take to level up to level 24 from level 21 in gladiator? Cuz the recommended level for The Company you Keep (Immortal Flames) is level 24
