I only got the problem at lvl 33 and up as I said I was 5 lvls ahead of myself at lvl 27 I got my chocobo and that's a lvl 20 quest but hit 33 and bahm !!!! half a lvl behind on my next set of quests cant do crap and I hate having to farm stuff.... I love to quest not grind ...

edit : also id like to add the fact that I made another character yesterday and I was lvl 13 killing lvl 11 mobs and they gave me 100 xp per kill, so why should mobs at lvl 38 be only giving 250 xp per kill ????? 3 times the lvl but only double the xp it should be atleast 700-1000 xp per kill, this would atleast solve the xp problem itself

I agree they need more quests, especially for sub classes.

I want to level up another job and the only thing stopping me is that we have no repeatable quests.

How are you supposed to level a sub class realistically with zero quests left? Leves would work but we have such a tiny allowance it's pointless to attempt leveling again.

We get too little exp from grinding. Tbh i hate running around for fates, i refuse to do it...

don't forget leves only give you half the xp a normal quest would as well so it doesn't matter if your getting double xp you wont lvl faster still .... the right solution is when you change class all quests are reset for that class so you can do them all again

Going to echo what everybody else has been saying. I'm level 38.5 and again i'm behind at least a half level from the main story quest. This has been happening for awhile now. It wasn't happening until somewhere after the low 30's though. Its like they just stopped adding enough side quests to keep you moving or they just aren't giving enough exp. It doesn't help that the Recommended function is fucking terrible.

Made it to 47 so far with very little fate grinding. Have had no problem staying 1~2 levels above my main story.

You people need to learn how to play, I guess. Everyone I've talked to has had no problem leveling when they find out they should be doing dungeons and FATEs on the side. It's not hard to walk a hundred paces out of your way to tag a few mobs in a fate. Plus, it gives you company seals to advance your character via that way. Win/win situation.

Are you picking up the optional dungeon quests? Running through dungeons a few times? Possibly queuing for Ifrit/Titan/Garuda to help others out and get double EXP? Maybe just to listen to the awesome music, if nothing else?

Anyone who's complaining about their first class not leveling fast enough needs to do other events besides quest hubs. I can see the second/third class being a problem, but leves alleviate that, along with more fates.

    Okay so post 30:
    - side quests
    - main storyline
    - hunting quests
    - fates
    - queuing for dungeons

but what about just party exp'ing like the good old days of FF11? Is there any of that? I notice there is no search for exp party function. Currently at 31 and looking to push to 50 but I see a long road ahead in terms of exp. Luckily the quest material is actually pretty engaging a lot of the times so I dont mind

I shouldn't need to do dungeons, in an mmo u should be able to only quest and meet max lvl, and yes im doing dungeons on the side, as well im forced to do the same dungeon 2-3 times to get my lvl, and it says to me YOU are also having the same problem but not just moaning about it just spamming dungeons, id like to also add YOU are a tank so me as a dps will take 40 mins for a dungeon were as you only 10 mins so there is a huge difference between us, you are clearly having the same problem as us but are doing dungeons non stop, so you see no problems, and there for what you say is crap...

id also like to add I do all my quests every single one of them and I currently need 356.800 xp for my next lvl ive run out of quests at 127.608 xp, so I need 229.192 xp to go .... that's a lot of quests missing, and will probably take me 3 dungeons to get to my next lvl (which is 43) ive spoken to loads of people on my world as well and they say the same thing as me ..

I really don't understand what you are talking about... I'm 45 and I'm not doing any sidequest, just the main quest, some FATES, new guildhest when available(35k the first time for a 10 minute content ) and dungeons... Keep in mind that you do easily 1/3 - 1/2 ( if in rest ) of your level in 1 hour if you run a dungeon once...it's mean that in max 3 hour you can do 1 level and maybe get some good gear...

The problem isn't really with your main class, since there are plenty of quests/sidequests to get you to 47ish (where there appears to be a bug that doesn't unlock a bunch of quests until you're 49). The problem is when you want to go back and level another class/job, you're left with just levequest*, FATES, dungeons, and grinding. Grinding is damn near useless, dungeons are ok but tedious eventually, and chasing FATES is a pain. Really wish there were repeatable quests at each hub--like "clearing" a hub of it's quests once would unlock repeatables for other classes/jobs.

*You could do levequests, but the rate you get them is way to slow to make it viable. Plus, you're much better off using the levequests at level 50 to get gil, since you're going to be dumping a metric ton of gil on just repairs.
