Sure, a support class with no healing skills nor buffs other than "regen tp" and "regen mp" in a game where everyone hardly run out of mp or tp...

Hm, Lancers and Pugilists are burst damagers that run out of TP. Conjurers can run out of MP if you're casting Esuna, Medica and Cure on everyone. Arcanists can get low on MP, and their MP replenish spell has a cooldown. Maybe if they buff the range of the Bard spells they would be more useful.

It's almost impossible for an arcanist to run out of MP unless he's healing, DPSing and DoTing at the same time. And I said this because I've done it when in party with a bad conjurer. And even then it was only in a boss fight.

Bottom line, if you are an arcanist who is running out of MP under normal circumstances... you are at fault.

If they give Archers/Bards a ranged limit break, they would have to give everyone else their own personal party limit break.

I'd be just happy if they give CNJ cross-class skills back. Seriously I initially went with archer because there is no rogue like class but then when I learned about bard and the cross class skills and how archer has the CNJ cross class skills I was thinking ok so bard should have those as well which makes it great as support. And then we get this weird thing...

Just give us back the cross class with CNJ.

I agree. If they hadn't stealth changed the "sub" class from CNJ to PUG, I could be a BRD already and happy to play one. As it stands now, I have to level a class I don't like (PUG) to 15 just to get it. It also lost all the support ability that drew me to the job in the first place. Now I'm working on getting CNJ to 30 for my unicorn, as well as ACN to try out SCH. I already have my ARC to 28, so I'll level it to 30, level PUG to 15, and get BRD in case they improve the class.

Archer is cool DPS got it
Bard... Has no healing spell's
Bard... Has songs but we must Stand RIGHT by people 1 song at a time.. Songs in which don't buff the BRD.
Bard... Has a HEALING Limit Break... SE what one is it? healing or DPS?

Bard is a DPS with group cooldowns, similar to an enhancing shaman if you want a WoW comparison. Instead of having Bloodlust/Heroism, you have MP and TP regen songs. I agree on the thing with the limit break, but I have a feeling that BRD's limit break will change when they introduce Musketeer.

PS: The FFXI Bard and the word "badass" are so far apart that they are in different universes. Leliana was a badass bard. The bard from The Bard's Tale was a badass bard. Even the D&D Bard is closer to the word than FFXI's infamous princess job.

What's the complaint exactly? You're a pure heavy DPS class with access to the best support ability in the game via your songs. The real question is, why any DPS other than Bard.
