    CALL SYSTEM DOWN, CHAT SUPPORT DOWN, NO ANSWERS TO EMAILS!? WHY WONT YOU HELP!?

    This is ridiculous!

    It is Square Enix's fault all these issues are being had with servers, accounts and registering accounts. Their site is confusing, redirects to 404's, hides numbers and any way of contacting them so they dont have to deal with the issues.

    There is no way to log in, and from all your posts of trying to fix the overflow problems, the most you've done is prevent people from playing and give us 3 extra days to be locked out of the servers unless we want to log in at 3 in the morning.

    Prevent people from merging 1.0 accounts with new accounts, and generally ignore us even when we get in contact with customer support by just linking us stuff in the FAQ when the FAQ does not have any help for our situation.

    You tell us to contact you for account merging even make a special form to fill out only to reply back that we need to call you or use chat support when neither work.

    Buying this game was a huge mistake in 2010 and it is a huge mistake now.

    Either fix the issue or give us our paid for first month of play when we can actually access the game!

    What makes this whole thing so frustrating is that they will not even state publicly even half of the known issues going on right now. Instead they put out an announcement that "Due to overwhelming positive reviews we need to shut down sales as we have so many people trying to log-in right now for our super-mega awesome game!"

    Kind of makes you want to slap someone.

    I am filing a report to the Better Business Bureau on Square Enix, it might be the only way to get the issues resolved, but it will take a lot of reports to get something said.

    Sadly these mean nothing when you're a company as wide-spread as SE.

    You want something done? Make sure that every single gaming website and magazine has "FF14 RELAUNCH BOMBS!" stories. I said in another thread already... to the best of my ability to read a situation.... Someone really high up at SE thinks everything will be water under the bridge by the time the problems are solved and then they'll just throw freebies our way until we all shut up.

    Are you for real? Over one incident that you know will not last forever, you are going to file a serious claim on a company that has surely provided you years of entertainment and dozens of other nearly flawless FF games? Not to mention many other SE games outside of the FF franchise. SMH. All because "they won't talk to me..." /cry. Maybe you should be glad that they are spending their manpower on working the issue vs. hanging on your every request.

    WTF! seriously people? they have temporarily stopped selling the game until they can get the issue fixed. Thats money they could be making off people who couldn't log in. They are trying to reduce the stress on servers and it has already gotten a little better even if not perfect. And they are working on getting more servers up unfortunately that takes time. They expected tons of people to get o but not several hundred thousand at the same time. They will have new servers up next week. I know that sucks to have this problem for a week and a half but they have to get all this set up from japan to canada.

    A BBB claim is just ineffective, but if that's how Dizzie wants to relieve stress then let them. Technically that person is entitled to file a claim.

    That aside, this fix shouldn't take them a week to get in motion. I mean... All you have to do is look at other game launches to know that you always have a massive load of people all trying to log in at the same time, enough so that servers crash and there are multiple errors. FF14 seems to be getting smacked around enormously hard by this, which is amazing to begin with, but they should have been prepared. It's like someone just thought they had everything handled and then got smacked in the head with a frying pan by the situation and now is fumbling to patch things up.

    Do I think we should all go form a mob and burn down SE HQ? Nope.

    But SE screwed the pooch big time and given their miserable launch in 2010 you'd just assume that they'd have learned a lesson and been better prepared. NOPE!

    It begs the question for a lot of users: Given the experience at launch from the connection issues, stupid registration and complete lack of customer service do you feel comfortable paying that company $15 a month when there are multitudes of F2P MMORPGs out on the market right now?

    Smashing your head into the keyboard right now isn't solving anything, clearly. However, to just kick back in your chair and say that this is "Normal" and "it's all good bro!"...

    Well... kinda isn't...

    Have you been Inside the game? This is GOTY material, easily. So, I say show some respect to the dev team, and give them the freakin week they ask to settle things.

    And no, you are not paying for it, the 30 day is free with the box...

    And no, its not included in the box price, because if it was MMO would be more expensive than a normal game, which is not the case...its free because they know the first 30 day will not be easy...

    They promise 30 days of playable game time with the sale of the game. When they say that, of course we expect we'll get 30 days of playable game time and not 30 days of spamming login trying to get in. So essentially that is a 1 month subscription to start off, they dont say 'this is so the game has time to settle' even after launch the game comes with 30 days of playable game time. This isnt their time to fix things, it is our time to play. If they need to fix thing it is not fair for them to use that time to fix the game.

    Get your nose out of their butt, you don't get a reward for brown nosing.
