I've never ever had this much trouble finding where to put in an activation code for a game. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I START FLIPPING TABLES.

See, I actually bought the original FF14 and was met with extreme lag and my comp crashing every ten minutes. I had been following up on this new version and was pretty exciting to see that Beta ran smoothly, for the most part. Now I'm just regretting I went back...
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...
On the mog station under your account there should be buttons to add a windows service or a ps3 service. Click whichever of those you're trying to add. Just make sure you don't add a new service account.
Ok I see that but the code I have doesn't fit in those boxes! Got my code from green man gaming the pre order code was legit so I don't see why the other code wouldnt be this is is frustrating!
Because that's bad information. If you own the PS3 Version you CAN NOT register the code through their online site *Makes Plenty SOOOOO MUCH SENSE BTW!* and thus you CAN NOT register the code.
UNLESS
You just bought it off the PSN before they shut down sales, did not have an existing SE account and jumped in fresh on launch.
Green Man Gaming sent out 2 codes. The first code was a pre-order code that you enter at the pre-order site which then sent you a real pre-order code to use on the FF account site.
They SHOULD have sent you a second code on the 26th or 27th which is the actual game code. I too pre-ordered it from them and thats how it worked out for me. If you didn't recieve the real game code then you need to contact them.
I received my code from GMG 2 days ago, only problem is it's EU instead of NA which the site never said anything about while purchasing.
has anyone figured out how to do this? i cant find a place to use the code other than add new service account....
For PC, redeem codes are different then serials
>If you have the code in this sequence ABCDEF-123-GHIJKL-456, this is a redeem code. which is plugged into here, http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/
which generates a serial number that you plug into your Mog Station Account.
>If you have a code in this sequence 1234-ABCD-1234-ABCD-1234, this is a serial number which needs to be plugged into your Mog Station Account.
^^this is how i did it anyway, i dunno if this will work for you
If you have a serial number for ps3, you cannot enter it via website, it must be through PSN, and if it doesn't work its likely a problem with PSN and not SE.
