Keybinding problems with keyboard -PS3-

I wanted to keybind the hotbar to the num pad in my keyboard, so i could use -for example- the actiosigned to the button "square" by just pressing num 1, i already have assigned L2 and R2 to other keys, and then activate the "toggle" option in Cross Hotbar Controls, so i just press one key, toggle R2 hot bar and then just activate a skill/ability with num1. But it happens that it not only activates the skill, but also opens the map, because square by default opens the map. And this doesn't happen if i select the "hold" option. I'm wondering if there's a way that i can use the "toggle" option without having this problem. (I hope i made myself clear).

Exactly what I am experiencing, in phase 3 beta you were able to press these Action Bar Shortcuts and they would work but in phase 4 they do not work and release they do not work. I am not sure what is wrong here. I also went about doing the same workaround that you have explained but when I press heavy shot it cast and opens my map at the same time because it is bound to square. I just want to be able to play this game on my PlayStation 3 using keyboard/mouse and use the Action Bar Shortcuts on my keyboard. As of right now I am unable to do so so I am resulting in clicking everything or use the gamepad which I am not to fond of.

Pulled this from user interface section. Touching on the same thing.
Still checking daily updates to see if this has been fixed myself.
