NPC Dialogue Freezing

I've been having a problem talking to NPCs. I've played on several characters before and never experienced this issue once until starting a new character after a month or so away from the game. The issue first started during the 'Treasures of The Main' quest line in Limsa Lominsa. When talking to Baderon, during his dialogue the text box containing what he was saying came up completely blank and I was unable to do anything except move my camera or use the chat box. The only way out is to close the client down manually.

Edit: Never mind ^^; This problem was caused by not using the default font. After switching it back, ive had no further issues.
