playing on Ps3, played beta and now have the disc

So my question is do I have to delete the beta off my system or what? Is there somthing I do to make it gi to the full version? I'm just clueless on what I'm supposed to do since I can still get on but I don't know if I'm just still playing the beta or?

I'm in the same boat seems like alot of ps3 people can't register the game fully yet, it shows my account is linked and in the mog station shows my status etc, but than shows to enter code I don't have lol

One announcement made by Square was that if you played in beta 4/EA you can use that client on official launch. No point in deleting it just to wait for the download and update again.

As for the code... if you bought a physical copy, there is a code in the box. I'd imagine that at some point we have to redeem that code through PSN to activate our subscription service, BUT i haven't gotten to that point yet. It's still letting me play off my beta 4 access so I'm just playing as much as possible till they ask for money.

The "at some point" you referred to is Friday. They announced that during early access.

Lol, oh and the 30days is added on to the free time for this week so don't worry about losing the free time..

You actually do not need to delete te old file. When you go and put in the code on the back of your non-existent manual, it will prompt you to Download the game. When you hit ok it just absorbs the eta and early access files and finishes in like 2.5. The time is updated almost instantly with the mog house.

I can confirm that you do not need to redownload the PS3 client if you played Open Beta/Early Access.

If you have the physical game, on the back of the "Instruction Booklet" is your registration code. Use this code in the PSN Store or the Redeem Code on the Account section of the XMB. This is also the code that differentiates Standard Edition from Collectors Editions. After entering the code, it gives you the option to download the client but you don't need to if you played Open Beta/Early Access. Then, when you launch the game, it will ask you to link your SE account (same procedure as Early Access registration). After this, you have fully registered your game! Check the Mogstation to see if PS3 shows up. If you had the Collectors Edition, you should also see the CE digital items listed and you can redeem them via Moogle Mail. You can also check the "Services" on your PS3 in the Account section of the XMB.

The code on the black and red piece of paper is NOT the game registration code and is just for SE members rewards thing.

*** CAUTION *** - DO NOT CLICK "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT" during the registration process if you want to keep your current progress from Open Beta/Early Access!!!!

One think not mentioned here (unless I've missed that) - even if you have a physical copy of the game you don't need it (after intial installation in case you've not retain Beta P4 / EA client) to be in the PS3 at all. Smart move SE!

Well I deleted the game do to the fact it wasn't linking to my square enix account, was deciding to send a help/ticket in but figure it be pointless do to the other thousand tickets lol, so went this route and it worked, I posted on other threads to but also no help just guesses...
