I've been trying since Saturday ffs. Could you imagine going to an ice cream store, paying for your ice cream cone, then the management said, "we are sorry, only a few people get to actually eat their ice cream that they paid for, please try again later. Would you consider that to be good business practice? Also, they kick you out of the store and tell you that only a limited amount of people can be in line to receive said ice cream cone, once a slot opens up you can re enter the line, but we won't tell you when that is or if it will ever happen. I doubt a simple ice cream store could survive treating "paying" customers that way, why should it be OK for SE to do the same??
