The bit I played last night the skills fired off as soon as I clicked A on my gamepad. Before they sometimes had a second or two delay keyboard 3-5 second delay sometimes.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
Yaaa for Dodore being nerfed to only 3 minions ;;
/sigh
Wow, Peregrine praising Yoshida on the update. Have to say I didn't see this coming but I guess it makes sense you'd give credit where due.
I really like this update as well. Now my LS can organize lower rank NM groups with the new additions, those pre-50 won't feel so left out in this respect anymore.
The new items are all pretty cool, the party adjustments were well needed, optional rank/aggro/health indicators, it's all pretty nice. I like the direction this game is heading, there are many who do not and I suggest they cut their losses.
I didn't get much time to play beyond gathering new quests (I also just hit r30, so I'm starting that one as well)...
Two thumbs up for this patch!! Guess I have to recant my rage about the party size reduction and apologize for being a jerk. Sorry Abriael and TheVedis.
Can't wait to get home tonight and really start playing!!
His point is, dodore was already doable with 8 ppl pre-patch.
And about the patch itself, it's good..pretty good. But still, I don't feel like getting into the game since the only thing left for me to do is leves and some lame quests :S.
Well peregine i'm glad to see you make this post after the one you made a while back about the easter events. And i'm sure we're BOTH glad you were wrong with that. I understand your frustrations and desire to see the game succeed so I won't poke you to much about that other post.
Regardless though i'm with you pere, so far i'm really loving the patch and can't wait to get on tonight to play some more. It is starting to feel like the game is getting back on track, especially if we see the battle overhaul next month.

I wonder what has happened to lovely messages like this:Yoshi-P did a great job with this. This was pay to play caliber, the first in a long time. The new gear sets the tone for the battle engine ahead, this is the baseline and it's a very good one. Midlevellers everywhere have some really great things to look forward to when they pick the game back up again. All the gear, in relation to the R50 gear we have, almost begs you to ask what materia will do to this equation.
So, who is "born yesterday?"What happened to what the "intelligent players who are not fanboys" thought? and all the negativity that you slapped in our faces for 30 pages?
The funny part is that this all comes at no real surprise, and you've been told multiple times both by the devs and by fellow players. Content and updates are worked in paralel by multiple teams. This means that updating always starts small (unless it involves stuff already in development before release) and patches become more and more sizable with time, as more and more projects approach their completion phase.
Hey now Abriael, no need to bring fighting and negativity into this thread. Peregrine basically admitted they were wrong and owned up to it with this thread, that takes a lot honestly. What's done is done, hopefully this patch has shown some of the more negative folk that things are actually being done.
Now the biggest troll crowd is the so-called "Hardcore" players who want 24 hr NM spawns, .00000000001% drop rates and all. I'm hoping they'll realize they're never going to get this and cut their losses.
