Hi guys, got a buddy who wants FFXIV but unsure if he can run it, will he be able to run it on the following specs:
Intel Core Duo 2
4GB Ram
Intel HD Graphics Family

have him go here it wont be exact but it may tell him what he is lacking mine says fail but its because my cpu http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri also have him try the benchmark on the main ffxiv site just play with the settings. but im not sure wha the cpu clock is but i doubt he will be able to play with good settings

also here is the minimum requirements his only problem may be graphic settins hard to say until he trys

I'm not a Pro at PC'S but Intel Graphics Family is 3000 I think.
So...Nope.
He may need to go down to the lowest of setting even then, blah. I say he should use PS3 or upgrade.
could be ran at lowest settings with that current setup.
with a decent gfx card your friend would be able to run the game at standard settings.
mmmm.. My laptop has some crappy onboard graphics but powered by an i5 so I can play it on low settings. Best thing for him to do is benchmark it.
all depends on his Vram in that family card, does he know how much video ram he have on that card?

I would say no chance of your friend running this game. My work PC has an i5 3470 @3.20 GHz with HD3000 internal graphics and barley runs the game on lowest graphics. It runs at 20fps, not quite good enough to play with other people without being a hindrance to them. Something we should all avoid as considerate humans.
no...he need a dedicated gpu not integrated graphics card
