After new update things dont make sense

Okay, so doing a level 10 logging quest, get the to tree it is guarded by 3 level 20 agro monsters, im level 17 lancer, so quest is impossible to solo... i die constantly.

Next do standard solo battle levequest, monsters for quest are also right next to level 21 monsters that also agro, quest also impossible to solo... again, constantly die.

Im not sure why a level 10 levelquest involves monsters that are level 20 to kill....it makes it not possible to do.

verdict so far for update 1.17 - not very much fun so far.....go back to 1.16 at least i could play the game solo, and theres not even anyone in my town to party with so i guess ill just kill star marmots until its fixed.

1) Rank 10 Levequests are for all ranks between 10 and 19. (so some leves will have higher level mobs)
2) If you turn up the difficulty, level goes up.
3) This is an MMO. There are other players online with you for a reason. If all content was solo-able, it would make for an INCREDIBLY BORING MMO.

i understand that there can be parties, but when you set the level to 1 star, solo, for a rank 10 mission, you dont expect to run into 3 level 20 monsters, that you cant solo. it defeats the point of it even saying solo, i dont get it. Im not saying i dont like the game, its just when it says rank 10 solo, and you cant do it even at rank 17, than it seems off..

Out there ppl complaining FF XIV being easy-mode, and here ppl ranting its difficult to complete 1star leves? geez.....

It depends on the mob you are fighting. Again, just because it is a rank 10 leve doesn't mean it is for exactly rank 10s. If you got a quest to fight Nutbiter Marmots, there is a good chance you'd be able to finish the level no problem.

You should also try learning important abilities like Sacrifice, Cure, etc.

Like I said... the "Rank 10" leves are designed for the whole level range of 10-20. And therefore, some of them are going to have monsters on the high end of that spectrum.

I haven't done R10 leves in a long time... What monsters (and leve), specifically, are you talking about? I can tell you if it was the same before the patch.
