First off while at the surface everything appears granular, many types of filters overlap each other and all overlapping items have to be turned off for the message to go away. Often times in doing that you will have to no choice but to turn off multiple types of log messages just to get rid of the one you didn't want. Make them all one to one so we can control what they are.
Specifically there are messages that say "the monster is no longer under the effect of poison" but this is categorized as a beneficial effect to the monster! Benefit and detriment needs to be completely reworked because the assignment to the log messages themselves is extremely convoluted. If I am in a fate, I see TONS of these purple messages, and the only way to turn them off is to block out any information at all about the monster's status either good or bad. This is overkill and ruins the whole reason anyone would want to log anything.
Last, there is no way to change the colors of the log messages more granularly. When I see a bunch of red text, I have no way of knowing if it's my auto attack, my skill, or damage taken! It makes it really hard to read with the amount of logging this game does.
Also when a skill is used, it needs to have the damage in the SAME LINE. I was unable to filter out skill activation, because if you use a skill and do damage, youll have no idea where the damage was attributed "Monster takes 100 damage" to unless the preceding line says "You used Fracture". Make it one line! This makes it even harder to see damage.
Also, I found it not practical to make a second window for my battle logs and for chat logs. While it was a great feature, you force us to have a very large window as it's minimum size, which would take up far too much screen space than I want. The minimum is something like 7 vertical lines!! Way too much. Let us reduce it to 4 or less.
