A couple of things I'd like to note

Hi everyone I have come across a couple of little annoyances in game today. The first being within a dungeon. A friend was in a dungeon and he went as SCH. Before he entered his weapon was at 33%. He died once during this dungeon and after working right up to the boss his weapon dropped to 0% and as he was the main cure his cures went from 300+ to 60~.

This forced everyone to have to leave because of not being able to repair stuff in side a dungeon. What I propose is a mender to be put at the beginning of the dungeon so that if your armor or weapons drop to a low amount you can make you way to the start of the dungeon to have them repaired.

The second thing was, please, please, please let us talk to NPC's while we are on mounts. Although its not game breaking it is really annoying to have to get of your mount talk to the npc, just to get back on your mount again and ride off. It seems a little silly to me.

Apart from these 2 little niggles, I am level 29 currently and so far I'm absolutely loving the game.

    Thanks ^^b

No the game doesn't need repair vendors in dungeons. Game doesn't need to be any easier.
and seems silly to me to be riding your mounts through towns.

Honestly, durability is just something you will need to keep in mind before starting any dungeon. It's annoying when it happens but at least you and your friend now know to keep an eye on it. You might even consider having a spare weapon just in case.

Also, in case you didn't realize it, the left section of the inventory summary (the colored dots on the bottom-right of the screen) shows your gear durability. If any of those dots turn red, you should visit a repair NPC. It's pretty convenient and can let you know at a glance when you have to go repair, it's saved me from heading out unprepared a few times.

I'm not trying to make the game any easier. I know this may sound slightly naive but if I have got a relic weapon or piece of armor why would I want to use something not as good.

Also regarding the mounts, Its not just town its everywhere. I don't want to be able to use mounts in town. You have the aethernet to get about fast enough. Its when your outside of town maybe handing quests in and such.

Really the only improvement I think they need to make to the gear damage system, is give a better indication you are damaged somewhere on your body, on the front UI. I'm not sure I've spotted anything like that on the 2.0 interface. In 1.0 you had a status icon that would pop up yellow when 10% on something, and red when 0%. I think the little tiny equipment/inventory part of the inventory shows colors based on condition, but its not really that easy to see I guess.

They should allow DoH class changes within dungeons for exactly this.

I remember when that was a selling point of the game (back in 1.0). "Oh, your armor breaks while out fighting? Change to a DoH, or have a party member change to DoH, and let them fix your gear."

Do people use DoHs to fix gear in 2.0? Seems like the NPCs can repair everything to max. Any reason or benefit to use DoH repairs?

It really is kind of pointless for DOH to repair gear as the npc can repair a full set of gear to 100% for less than 1k. Unless they allowed DOH within dungeons. If they did this they would be more useful, cause like I said above. If your relic weapon breaks and you worked hard to acquire the weapon why would you want to be forced to carry a weaker weapon with you.

It sounds like your friend needs to pay attention to their gear a little better. Just seems like common sense that one would check their gear's durability before stepping into a dungeon. Though I will agree that being able to talk to NPCs while mounted would be nice.

You save some money if you repair it yourself. Dark matter can be bought for company seals or just cheaper-priced than NPC repairs.
