Please Help can not find gear set list

As the post says I can not find my bros gear set list it is not located in his character data the only thing he has different from me is that he use's a xbox 360 controller pic below.

Any info would be appreciated.

Even though you are a returning character from 1.0 and have the ability to change to any class you already had unlocked, you still need to complete the Lv10 class quest of the class you chose to begin ARR with to unlock the Armoury and Gear Sets.

Edit: The button Molly is talking about will appear after you do this.

On the equipment UI, there is a button for it right above your character. And as the poster above says, you have to do the level 10 class quest as well as join a new guild and complete the first quest for that class to unlock it.

You haven't mentioned if he's completed his level 10 starting class quest as I believe that's what initially unlocks gear sets. When you complete class quests for other classes, you get more gear slots.
