<Chaos Unbound> has been present on Couerl since the official release of FFXIV:ARR August 2013 and the leadership of the guild has been constant since the first day of early access. We are striving to be one of the top guilds on the server and plan to use our past experience as members, raid leaders, and guild leaders of some of the top guilds on our server/serverwide community on games such as Everquest and Rift.

Between the 3 of us we have raided

Everquest: 12-15 years (a majority of our guild/raid leading and competative serverwide raiding experience)

Everquest 2: 1 year

Rift: 1-2 years

WoW: 1-2 years

Why are we recruiting?
While we hope to have fairly low attrition on raid numbers once established which will likely close open recruitment for all but truly exceptional players we are currently for skilled players to fill for the imminent 24-man raiding content. We intend to keep a roster of around 28-30 members to prevent having to sit people. Friends and family are welcomed even if they are not interested in serious raiding.

Note: Mid raid rotation of members WILL happen if there are people on the bench. NO one will sit a full night.

Raiding Schedule
Sunday: 7:30pm - 10:00pm EST
Monday: 7:30pm - 10:00pm EST
Tuesday: 7:30pm - 10:00pm EST

We plan to allocate raid days as needed towards other activities that would advance the guild as a whole (AF quests and such). Unless actual 24 man raid content requires 3 days this is what Tuesday will be reserved for.

What do we expect from you?
We expect you to have high raid attendance (in order to keep a small roster of limited bench time this is a must) and we expect you to negotiate new mechanics after exposure to them. We have no gear expectations nor FFXIV raiding experience expectations though if you have raiding experience in 14 or previous MMOs that will shine a favorable light on your application.

What can you expect from Chaos Unbound?
On joining the guild you will acquire recruit status. This will last for approximately 2 weeks and during that time each party will gauge whether the other is a good fit. You are encouraged to have high (ideally 100%) attendance during your recruitment phase.

How we handle loot
Until the method that loot is acquired is seen a loot system is being put on hold. We can however say that raid attendance will be a strong determining factor on eligibility for a dropped item. If loot is dropped as a generic piece which is then specialized tanks will be given priority early on to facilitate progression.
