don't you understand? liking things about the game is what made 1.0 fail. you have to hate it, vocally. a community of frothing angry gamers, that's what makes an MMO strong.

sarcasm aside, i frikken love this game. the duty finder alleviates one of the things i hate the most in MMOs (begging for party, i spent more time in XI looking for a party than actually DOING things in that party.) i love the arcanist even if it does feel like "micromanager, the class" it is fun. i try to keep my mind up so i can heal my carbuncle or tank who allowed the healer to be killed forcing me to take over his place or random person in a fate who is getting attacked by boss and can't handle it.
having topaz carbuncle mean he can take some of the heat off the tank (though i switch to emerald in copperbell when dealing with the blob)

Typically, the more people are complaining about not being able to get into a game, the more they enjoy it when they do get to play. So, consider it a good thing there are so many people upset about not being able to play.

I'm having an alright time.
There's somethings I miss from 1.0 (I feel a lot of the more interesting original concepts, visual fidelity, and equipment art direction have taken a step back), but overall I'd say I'm having fun.

im enjoying the game when i can get in im not complaining tho im just being patient i know eventually everything will work the way it should i work in IT on all sorts of computers so i know that not everything is a simple fix. Im sure they are working hard to get this done for everyone to play so im just playing as i can and if not ill play something else.

I have log-in issues every time I try to access the game, but I keep trying because I want to play.
When I do get in, I thoroughly enjoy myself. The graphics are a huge improvement over version 1.0 and I enjoy the new music. Even though I am legacy and have leveled many things, I have to relearn all my jobs/classes so I get to play them again.
And then there's the exploration... 1.0 had some places with a nice view. ARR has lots of areas that I haven't seen yet!

Yep, that is so true! I tanked the L20 Ifrit fight last night, because bollocks to the DD queue, I do have PLD at 50 and even some experience with that and with the Ifrit fight (but as a DD myself).
Man I shouldn't have introed myself to tanking in ARR like that, at least I lasted until after Hellfire, but died to a friggen plume... So stupid
