Unable to update the group NA/EU Character List but no maintenance is on

I get the "Unable to update the group NA/EU Character List" but at the moment there is no maintenance going on.
The servers are up as is shown by site such as ARRstatus.com yet my client acts as if all the servers are down or undergoing maintenance.
Is it normal???

Having the same issue. Or, sometimes the servers ARE there, and when I try to login, it loads for a minute, then gives error message stating: "Unable to connect to server" or something like that (it's just plain not detecting the servers at all right now, so I can't see the exact message).

This all started as I was viewing the cutscene at the end of an instnace, and while the music and animation were still working, the characters just stood there and the camera stayed put, and it just stayed that way for ages until I used task manager to quit out.

Yeah I experience those problems once in a while too. But it least when it happens I get a message, I get kicked out of the server and then I can try to log back in.
But this problem prevents me from doing any kind of try. I'm permanently out as if the servers were altogether down fro maintenance...


This goes beyond 'log in difficulties' as they put it. This is a proper "ACCESS FORBIDDEN"

Just got word from a friend on Behemoth; seems fine on the server, and it's likely the log-ins are prohibited for NA/EU at the moment I am told.

If so, they seem to not last terribly long but doesn't justify, I think, this condescension and lack of updates past the understood narrow sight for EA and launch going forward.

All that is known by know I believe, and I enjoy the game too much to walk away but, lack of communication if anything else seems inexcusable. Just biding my time before I can immerse again...

i'm having this problem too now, i've been trying to get in for about the last 30-45 minutes then suddenly it says "Unable to Update NA/EU Character list". This seriously sucks.

And then the whole thing crashes.

first im not able to creat a char on a server on which a friends play and now i cant even log in to a other allready made char *upset* *cry*

Me and a friend crashed on the Titan fight, 90000, and now we cant get the NA/EU list to show.

Just got Error 90000 while teleporting and now I can't load the list :P. I thought they resolved this problem.

same here, got error 90000 while tanking a dungeon and now can't log back in. Sorry random party members :/
