Well yeah that is why I'm currently playing on a EU server. In hopes that I can transfer over to my guild server eventually. If not for that I'd not even play this game right now (though I did pay for it)

My only fear is they will not allow transfers between NA/EU but I'll cross my fingers.

They should offer free transfers for those that couldn't play with their friends due to their server issues but I won't hold my breath.
