Server transfers "2-3 months out"... Does this change thing for you?

This article says that yoshi has given a 2-3 MONTH time frame for transfers. It's pretty much the killer for me. I understand the servers need to be stable but ill just have to wait for that because leveling a toon that won't be able to play with my friends IF they are still here in 2-3 months isn't acceptable.

This isnt good new at all. New servers will only help if people can transfer to them :/ I had a bad feelign they'd delay the september transfers with all the work they've got going on but 2 months is too long to wait.

Um. I've been patient. I've been trying to get on my friends server since beta. At some point I'm just not interested in the battle any longer. It's a game that I wanted to play with my friends. I'm not interested in playing it by myself until they magically unlock Gilgamesh and let me on.

Oh man, my friends and I were going to roll on Gilgamesh. They started rolling there in the last beta and a few of us could not get on. Once early release started up, we all decided to just reroll on Siren. Not an RP server, but at least we're playing.... sometimes. :/

The game has been out for about a week and you're already threatening to quit because something that wasn't planned to be available to mid-September is getting pushed back further. Doesn't sound very patient to me, yeah?

Seems fine to me, it doesn't take that long to level a toon, most in my free company are 40+ already, some are grinding fools where like me with stuff to do other than game etc level 28 among many others are low level and taking there time with game....

Hm, this conflicts with what they have on their website, stating that transfers are scheduled to begin mid-September. If it really will be October-November that transfers will open, I'll be a bit upset since my roommate and I weren't able to get on the same server, but we figured waiting until sometime in September wouldn't be a problem. Waiting until midterm season would be a downer.

Here's hoping to the transfers opening ASAP.

2-3 months out is probably talking about LEGACY Transfers.

I'm fairly certain there was a miscommunication there. I think Yoshi-P was referring to the paid world transfer service. I highly doubt he would have been mentioning anything about the fixes and filling up the new servers that wasn't first announced on the forums/Lodestone. Based on SE's past with this sort of thing there'll be free transfers coming up immediately after the new servers go live. They'll be limited to the new servers more than likely though otherwise it would turn into a cluster***.
