Didn't they already say that they are upgrading the data centers as early as next week?

If thats their official standpoint, then I will take the insult as intended, as will alot of ppl. Surely they dont expect half their player base to just accept they paid for a service they are being restricted from. I believe they do, but I thought id give them a chance to show some sense of responsibility towards their customers.
Being ignored for 6 hours is going to provoke even the most level headed customer.

It is insulting. The fact that the people who preordered and had "Early Access" couldn't play, and now they can't play the first launch weekend, and the fact that the people who bought the game on launch day are also being told "wait till next week to POSSIBLY be able to play the game"...it's ridiculous. If thats their official standpoint, then I will take the insult as intended, as will alot of ppl. With the amount of sheer inadequacy that handled the EA "maintenance" time and time again during the past weekend, I am wholeheartedly expecting the new server upgrades to just not be enough.

Yep. I Pre-ordered CE and yes while it did frustrate me, I could understand the teething problems just prior to launch. I feel like this community has been very reasonable and apart from a few I can honestly say it seems we have quite a mature crowd here. But enough is enough. If they cant fix their server capacity within 24hrs well then lets be honest, what kind of company are we dealing with? I think thats a fair conclusion to draw and I know that in my workplace this kind of ineptitude would not be tolerated. Is it to much to expect to be treated with respect? Let alone have others work to a very reasonable standard.
I dont know, I think all we do by accepting mediocrity is dreary up the future.
