Summoner Pet

Just curious, I have my SMN to level 34 (would be higher if I didn't keep getting the 1017 error) and I have ifrit-egi.

When do we get the other pets? Are they aquired through doing the story quest?
I'm currently on my level 31 story quest.

Hey Zionite,
I can only confirm that you can obtain Titan at level 35 so far (as i am only level 37 myself). However, in order to accept your level 35 Summoner job quest (in order to obtain Titan) you must advance a bit further in the main story line quests. Eventually (I believe it's a 33 or 34 main story quest) you will be required to use the duty finder to kill titan. Once you have done that, you can accept your 35 summoner job quest. This quest requires that you solo Titan then complete a second fight. After you turn in that quest back in Gridania, you will obtain Titan (please note that your summon II spell will still look like carbuncle).

If i find out more soon I will do my best to update this thread.

Thanks! I'm trying to catch up in my story quest. I'm behind because the duty finder was down during early access so I just grinded...anything lol
I'm catching up slowly, it also unlocks quests each time I get to a different area so I'm also leveling as I'm completing the quests.
I plan to be 35 tonight. Can't wait for fester!

You also get a garuda type (replaces base carbuncle) around 45 ish -- but again, you have to have beaten her in the instance already.

Caster just like Emerald Carby. The abilities are the same just renamed to sound more Windy.
