The people trying to defend that never logging out isn't a problem is hilarious. I cant tell if there trolling or not.

Its not the problem. The problem is the server infrastructure. Once its fixed it won't matter if people don't log out.

Never mattered in FFXI or FFXIV 1.0 and it won't in 2.0 once the servers are fixed.

People are screaming for the wrong solution like whiny babies because they can't wait 2 more days.

Yup, every time I see someone complain about not being able to get in it makes me laugh. At least they told us when and what they are doing to fix the problem. If you are not aware that they are making server changes in a few days then you cant read.

sadly i was a nice guy logged in about 5am this morning and logged out when i had to leave just so someone else could play...and what do i get, a nice hard shaft when i return....cant even call up the na/eu server. if your not going to implement 15 min idle kicks then put in a rolling server restart every hour til you add more servers. maybe ill play the ass and just log in at 4 or 5 am then just stay in although i hate that idea. i guess were just suppose to be brutal and careless just screw over the next person so i can play when im ready to play.

I guess I ahve to be an ass as well until they fix this. No more loggin out when I am done playing and if this sint fixed, I will cancel my subscription until it is. They don't need my money until they deliver on service.

By staying logged in, you are contributing to the problem.

1. More players AFK means less spots for active players.
2. Less active spots means more players get 1017.
3. More players getting 1017, means even more players stressing the login system by repeated logins.
4. Stressed login system means some players can't either login or even view their characters.

My valuable playtime is as equally valuable as yours. I don't see why my time is any less important than any one elses (let alone more important). Be respectful and humble and logoff when your done

More then 1/2 of my old FC never logout and they rubber band a control in their Inn room...so a better work around will be needed....

I'm sick and tired keep getting disconnected from the server and unable to login with in an hour or more!

AFK kick feature will be pointless. People are assuming that AFK is the problem and it's not. Every single time I've been in a que, it didn't matter where I was at(highest I've seen is like 160ish)within a minute I was logged in. This shows people are constantly logging out just like they are logging in. Unless something is very wrong with the log in que, one must presume people are taking the time to log out of the game, when they aren't being kicked out by the system when a problem arrises, that is. The problem here is the login que was ill-equipped to handle the demand. I've never seen more than 160ish people in que, and usually when I get through to the que, I see like 35 people. It's really sad how hard the log in que fails.

I don't like auto kick features in MMOs, and no, they are not the standard unless it's a freebie game. It should be a last resort option for a pay game.

Yea please put this AFK kicker in game, what is the point staying in the game without playing/chatting/moving around?
If you don't play you have to logout, EASY PEASY.
