    Great Job Devteams!

You guys are doing a great job! I really appreciate all the hard work you guys are doing.

The only concerns I have at the moment are seemingly cosmetic.

Additional hairstyles, when I made a character I never felt satisfied with the number of hairstyles to choose from, my friend who made a character first already picked the hair I'd have liked and as a person who always likes to pick differently then my friends(Aside from race) I was sort of disappointed.

Jump, it may sound silly, but I really was hoping for a jump feature. I know Final Fantasy games traditionally never have jump but I find it more immersive especially in places like dungeons where you have to do things like jump across broken stairs or walk back up again. I know this was mentioned as a possible inclusion into the game, and I hope it makes it's way in it really means a lot to me.

Cell made maps, this is another cosmetic thing. I just would like to see future zones maybe made less with cells. One of my favorite things about a previous SE MMORPG was the fact that each zone felt like a hand carved work of art, I could pinpoint the location of practically any screenshot in the game because the landscape was so unique.

Other then those few concerns I really like what you guys are doing, I especially would like to thank the language team or item naming team >:3 I find it utterly refreshing and super interesting the way they find obscure and ancient names for items and armor instead of calling everything an "X of X".

Square Enix games are the determining factor for me purchasing new consoles and upgrading / purchasing PCs. I have tons of love and respect for this prestigious company and will continue to be a loyal and happy customer for years to come.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

Please, I was a fanboy before most of the people who are playing were born. I've been one of Square's biggest supporters for the last two decades.

And no, I don't want to play as a Male Miqo'te, I want to play as a Female Roegadyn.

I'd also like to thank the devs for all their hard work. I'm looking forward to having the patch downloaded and installed.

Offtopic: I can hardly wait for FFV and FFVI to reach PSN in western markets. Final Fantasy ports are about the only use I have for my PS3 and PSP.

They are doing a good job overall adding to the game and listening to players (with a critical ear). This patch wasn't the big one I was looking forward to, but I have been pleasantly surprised with it so far. Playability seems to have improved a fair bit.

Just jumping in to add my support for the devteam. You guys are doing a great job on so many fronts, including but not limited to your personal responses to feedback threads, involvement in the community, addressing specific concerns, and listening to us. 1.17 was no overhaul, but it's the start in the right direction for battle content. Yes, I like many others are waiting very patiently for auto attack, re-vamped armory system and the job system that Yoshi-P teased us about. But that doesn't take away from the strides 1.17 took.

The new party size is fantastic, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The new behest timeline is something we've been begging for, for ages. Things like the map legend were unexpected and appreciated, whereas the new identification icons for enemies as well as over-the-head HP bars make everything a lot more efficient. You did a great job on the NMs, and yes the 3~5 minute timers are just fine. You've made it clear you understand something that FFXI struggled with for so long: attrition does not equate to a challenge or even to difficulty. You did a great job on the lore for the NMs and for the companies, to which we're all eagerly awaiting more information on. Furthermore, the new gear shows you're getting creative with gear design without doing things spectacularly flashy, which at this point in the game is perfect.

Lastly, as I'm sure you know, there's an imbalance in those who voice support in the forums and those who voice concerns/angst (it favors the latter). As I'm sure you also know, with any service of any kind, those who are content have less of an incentive to vocalize opinions than those who aren't.

Keep up the good work. We're rooting for you, and a lot of my friends are actually eagerly awaiting paying for this game because that'll mean it's only better than it is now.
