30-40 was a dead crafting arena anyway.
There are a few pieces from the patch that made it into endgame setups, sure, but who knows what materia slots they'll have if any. I bet the harley pieces have crazy materia slots.

This also keeps the PC players from charging PS3 players an arm and a leg for 30-40 gear.
