My first two solo NM fights

Today i went to Cassiopeia hollow to fight this new nm.
My first fight was against unknow soldier. I was mrd r38.
This was a rather long fight because nm had alot of hp but i had never any trouble to deafet it, because i used stygian spikes+ cure 2.My heart was pounding, excitment and i was very proud when he was dead. Drop was a disapointment though, a sunstone choker.

Next fight was against Bomb Baron. He didnt had so much hp, but in other hand i couldnt regain so much mp through stygian spike so this was a rather hard fight. Eventually my mp was gone so i died. I went back and his hp had not recover so much after 3 min so i engaged him again. This time i ran low on mp again so i disengaged and fleed. It worked. Got my mp back and fought him again. This time i got him down.
Wow was i excited? For me this was a great victory!!! I had finally beat him.
I must say this 2 fight added alot to my gaming experience. I will hunt down all nm out there, one after another. It is great fun and excitment, especially if you solo it.
Oy yes, forgot to tell about the drop. He dropped alot but most importend was Frostbite, a gladiator sword r30.
o,yes one last thing. I didnt gain any gil or exp/sp for this fight.

Nice work Just one question, do you have Syphon MP? Because it would certainly help during those times when you are low on MP, at least enough to get a few extra Cure II's and Weapon Skills off while waiting for the down timer

Yes i used Syphon mp but it wasn't so good in a long solo fight. It help alittle thoug, just as you mentioned.

Grats on getting Frostbite on your first attempt! It sometimes can take many tries.

I got frostbite on my first attemt too, but i soloed it at R50. I never really liked that NM's have a 'Territory'. It makes them way too easy to solo, since you will get your HP back before they can disengage from combat. This is going for the R50 NM's mainly BTW.

Honestly i'd be cool if NM's had a massive territory or none at all, they are Notorious Monsters, the meanest of the mean hell bent on making sure unsuspecting adventures fall to their cunning and power in which normal monster lack.

Maybe if their territory was the entire zone, so youd have to run to the next area to escape ^^

I've killed so many NMs the last 4 days if they gave SP I'd have another job @ rank 50. Old Six Arms will not give up the Venerer's Bracers (over 25 kills).
