    Controller Vibration/Force Feedback on PC

    Hi there,

I'm using an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows to play the PC version (when I get sick of using the keyboard/mouse).

However, (I think) I am having a problem with controller vibration/force feedback. My controller does vibrate *just once* when I enable the setting in the dialogue box, but I have not experienced any vibration at all in game (from level 1-19).

Is there something wrong here, or is there just no force feedback/vibration in the PC version?

Does anything have force feedback working on the PC version? Can they provide some hints as to when this usually occurs and if there's any trick to get it working?

    Thank you!

If it helps, I too have never noticed any kind of vibration in the game, aside from when you "turn it on" in the settings. Maybe it is something similar to the Voice Acting that works for some, and doesn't for others?

Nice to know someone else is experiencing the same issue. I would guess that the voice acting issue is simply a matter of not everything being voice acted.

No no, I have had quests that have had voice acting that other's doing the same quest, have not.... Or maybe it was a perception issue where I thought they were doing the same quest? But in either case, I haven't had any vibrations... and you would think that casting something like my Limit Break which is a giant AOE into the ground would shake things up a bit? :P

Yeah, even vibration when being hit could be useful. I wonder what sort of vibration the PS3 version uses.

I've noticed (PC + gamepad vibration) that only special cutscenes make the controller vibrate for me, under normal combat it never vibrates but I've had it vibrate during story cutscenes.

    Try fishing.

The PS3 controller vibrates when you catch a fish.

yes I have tried fishing just to see if there was a rumble/vibration feedback. There was and I liked it. Just wish they would implement it in normal combat for critical strikes at least.
