What an absolute naive statement. Here is the reason and you are correct, I don't own the game and I am leasing the copy, but if I choose to not play it due to issues with millions of others, then what is there to lease if nobody is leasing when it's shut down. Correct me if I am wrong, isn't they a reboot cause they shut down the first attempt due to failure? Correct me if I am wrong that there is very little wiggle room in failure? It's a business and it's a fact that if the product isn't good, it won't survive. When I see posts saying, give them time, blah blah blah. No, they messed up already on the first version and they are messing up on the second. Their reputation is not doing so well already and the reviews on the game is going to crap because the reviewers can't even get on.

What are you guys talking about. What started all of this was the 90000 error code that was in beta. They never fixed that. Then they release the game with small server capacity and tons of servers instead of less servers and big capacity. He is right and this lets wait and see until they fix it. Its going to end up like ff11 where NA /EU players for the most part are going to start walking away from the game. This has nothing to do with if the game is good or not or if ff14 is a great game... that doesn't matter one bit if you cant get on the game. And why are all these fixes going in when the game is live and not in beta ? I played in beta and there was never this issue. So how come all of a sudden the servers are always full..... i'll tell you why.. people are not LOGING OUT.
You have people at work / school / sleeping / walking the dog that just leave there characters logged in game all day all night. FIX IT. Simple afk function. Problem solved.

Cant even play the freaking game i spent $60 on. And all this "let them fix the problem" they didnt know that NA/EU were going to have alot of players trying the game out. They had 'NO' idea that they would need big servers for an mmo of this magnitude.
And like 1 posted said... this is a rebot from a version they messed up bad. Now you open the new version with this kinda of crap. PUT IN AN AFK FUNCTION. People are not logging out of the game. Thats all you have to fix.

I've been playing on Coeurl and can get in within 15 - 20 minutes of repeatedly trying. It's annoying but it hasn't stopped me from playing at all. Just keeping hitting '0' on your numpad until you get in. Might take 40-50 tries, but if you really want to play you can.

My friends and I all log on around 6est. Took about 25 minutes for all 4 of us to log inti the same full server. That is very reasonable for mmo launch week.

I mean, I would be perfectly OK if i bought a car that I could only open the door and drive for specified, limited period of the day.

People paid money SE. Paid money to PLAY THE DAMN GAME! Not sit around for hours spamming a log in screen for "world full" errors. Listen to some of the other posts and institute an AFK kick pronto. A queue wouldn't hurt either.

You won't get a dime of subscription money from me until you can prove that you know what you are doing and you even care about paying customers.
